Jason Ji

A multi-genre fingerstyle guitarist and singer-songwriter, a one-man-band playing an acoustic guitar to its most resonating and ear-catching potential. He graduated Summa Cum Laude From Berklee College of Music with a scholarship in 2021 and soon became an endorsed artist by Seagull & Godin Guitars.

Originally classically trained from 11, he eventually found his way to fingerstyle guitar from the likes of Tommy Emmanuel and Emil Ernebro. He was featured in the 2019 Guitar Night: Pop and Rock as the only soloist, the 2019 International Folk Festival in Berklee, as well as China’s Got Talent in 2019, receiving all four “yes” votes.

My style of playing is fingerstyle guitar, a type of unique yet very sought-after guitar playing style where all elements of a band (melody, chords & percussion) is combined into one acoustic guitar, please see examples in my performance videos! I play extremely diverse music, from pop to classical to jazz etc, era from the 20s to today’s top 40 hits
