Baha Yetkin Ensemble

Music builds up his performances with his meticulously written compositions which are an amalgamation of out-of-the-box improvisational thinking based on Istanbul music, complex rhythmic structures of Middle Eastern music, emotional dynamics, meditation, spirituality and wisdom.

The group has an Oud as a lead instrument and there are violin, qanun, double bass and percussion (depends on the request with/out vocal).

Repertoire ranging from the best Ottoman music tunes to new compositions.

Members of the band are full time musicians and each musicians has more than 15 years experience in music business.

We perform music under the world music genre, especially Turkish, Anatolian, Armenian, Azerbaijani, Greek (Rebetiko) music. We have more than 4000 songs, instrumental tunes in our repertoire.
