The Kindergarten

Band playing mostly original music with primarily indie rock covers tossed in. Performances are lively and keep people engaged and dancing. Fan base is usually 18-35 years of age.

Our music is based on iconic indie rock from the last 10 years with an emphasis on keeping people engaged in our performance. It has more of a Indie-Pop sound that can be fast and loud or steady and rhythm heavy. Bands that come to mind in terms of inspiration are Mac Demarco, The Strokes, Mama, Her’s, Alex G and the like.

We have played events for large groups of people and have rehearsals multiple times a week. Our lead is a student at Berkeley School of Music and has been playing classically for years at large event halls.

We aim to keep the crowd entertained and have been successful at that much throughout our time as a band. We have top of the line equipment if need be and have set up our own events before with our own back line.
