A soulful solo singer and multi-instrumentalist who moves between piano and guitar throughout the performance, bringing timeless soul, jazz and funk to life. Whether you want a captivating entertainer who gets people on their feet, or a warm, understated backdrop while your guests eat, drink and chat, every performance is shaped around the room and the moment.

If you’d prefer, the set can focus on piano or guitar alone. The standard format is two 45-minute sets (three 40-minute sets also available), and requests are always welcome, so feel free to send over your favourites in advance or ask on the night. For bigger occasions, a saxophonist or full band can be added.

Ideal for weddings, drinks receptions, corporate events, private parties, restaurants, bars and hotels.

The repertoire centres on the golden era of soul, jazz and funk from the 1960s and 70s: the classic sounds of Motown and Stax, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and Curtis Mayfield, alongside modern favourites from artists such as Amy Winehouse. There are also fresh, soulful takes on well-known singalong songs, with Seven Nation Army always a crowd-pleaser.

Every song is arranged for voice with piano or guitar, keeping the feel of the originals while giving them a personal, intimate touch. Alongside the covers, I write and record my own soul-jazz music, with a debut album out this year, so there’s real musicianship behind every note.

The setlist can be tailored to suit your event, and requests are welcome on the night.

Over 10 years of performing experience, from O2 Academy stages to intimate jazz and blues bars, including touring as a session guitarist for Pete Wylie. As a full-time musician, songwriter, DJ and soul radio show host, reading a room and picking the right song at the right moment comes naturally.
