5 musicians. Different as though they may seem at first, they all share a penchant for the olden songs and tunes that have so far mostly been heard only in a dusky “meyhane” scattered throughout the Balkans. What they are passionately committed to is revealing the genuine allure of these musical pieces to hearts and minds of urban audiences with profound taste in music.

Standard performance, among other things, includes a selection of Gypsy, Macedonian, Bulgarian, Romanian songs, and of course, sevdah music. Their essential elements are always retained, and all the original thrillers and peculiar rhythmic sequences are performed not only with skill, but also with special dedication and respect.

Gypsy jazz is our main music, but we play all from standard wedding music to jazz standards.
