I love to take a classic and make an ambient, beautiful cover on the piano, or take a slower song and give it a compelling rhythm and beat. I even like to merge songs together when possible; I’m able to do a full set in an ambient guitar tuning without ever stopping the music – very popular for cocktail hours, receptions, or during those in-between times when guests move from one place to another.
I layer my multi-instrumental plugged-in performances using a 6 channel loop pedal, giving me far more dynamism than a single musician alone. I use an advanced loop to quickly and seamlessly build multiple layers and sections of songs. I can play just about anything out there, and can even combine songs. I love to let songs build to a crescendo, or extend the singalong portion of a song when the crowd is enjoying it. I tailor my performances to my audience and my setup gives me a lot of power to adapt my performances.
Unique covers of popular songs – they will not always sound like just a copy of the original, though I pride myself on my ability to mimic a style when requested. I have a wide existing repertoire of songs, and I am also able to take requests before the event to learn just about any song for you.
I am a one-man band, able to offer a rich and colorful performance without the need to shell out thousands for a full band. I also have years of event experience at every level, and understand the flow of unique events and what is needed at a specific time.
