''An infusion of heavy beats mixed with fuzzy guitars, shaken with raps and garnished with a dash of white noise''
The band started when six friends with the same passion for music and drinks decided to blend the musical genres they had been listening and playing for years with the night-life atmosphere and environment they were working in as bartenders.
The resulting songs combine the different ingredients and sounds that have influenced the members of the band, from the authenticity of Blues and the rawness of British Rock to the samples, drums, and production techniques of Hip-Hop and Dance music.
With big MPC beats, wailing guitars and captivating raps served "on the rocks", The Boston Shakers are a cocktail of good vibrations you won't get enough of.
Had the liquid rooms in Edinburgh absolutely bouncing lastnight! The lead rapper then blew us away with his vocals during the Dr. Dre orchestra set. Fantastic set from a brilliant band. Can't wait to hear more! X
I first saw these guys in the Cavern last year and I have been a fan ever since. Not only are they all really nice guys but the music it just gets inside you and makes you move. I honestly cannot recommend this band enough. They are a pleasure to both watch and listen, very energetic music. I love it!
Seriously decent live. I saw them open for Electric Six back in 2016, I enjoyed them as much as Electric six and been a fan ever since.
What do you get when you mix Fun Lovin' Criminals with Tijuana Bibles and stir in a bit of John Mayall and Dr Feelgood? Liverpool six-piece The Boston Shakers of course.
They're bringing their own brand of 'in your face', blues infused rock 'n' roll to the table, heavy beats with smattering of rap and no small amount of swagger.
It went off yesterday. The Boston Shakers owned it yesterday at The Craft Taprooms. One of the best bands I've seen in along time. If you like top music with unreal flow these boys are for you.
