Born in Sydney, Australia, Robert grew up listening to the radio and his parents’ record collection every day, developing a love affair with the art of “the song”. Robert Nobilia is a musician by trade. He has been writing, performing, recording and producing music all over Australia for over many years. He has been a performer on several national tours around Australia including the recent 2011 Tin Can Radio National Tour. He has performed and toured with: Night Zoo, Blue Heaven, Dirty Cartel and PocketLove! He takes on the role of ‘Jack-of-all-trades’ in Tin Can Radio, playing Synthesizers (Korg R3 and MicroKorg), MPC Sampler, Tenor Saxophone & back-up vocals. Rather than having been influenced by certain bands or a particular genre, Robert has drawn inspiration from various old and modern, popular and alternative songs, that capture the essence of character and emotional tone, and that reflect the voice and mood of the times.
Ernesto is a Spanish musician born in Barcelona. Ernesto’s early start in music was with the recorder, where he showed his unique musical talent. As a teen he studied modern music at L’Aula del Liceo, being already able to master the recorder and piano. From 1989 to 1994, Ernesto worked as a pianist in the Vuit menys set literary gatherings, a renowned act celebrated monthly in Barcelona around the life of well-known authors. In parallel, he provided live piano accompaniment in drama performances and cinema. In 1998 Ernesto was contracted by Blau Hotels and Resorts (Majorca, Spain) to play the grand piano daily in high standing hotels, which he did over ten years. This job was a good setting for Ernesto to develop this potential as an eclectic performer and composer, with songs in his repertoire ranging from The Swan Lake from Tchaikovsky to a collection of jazz standards. Apart from the piano, Ernesto has played synthesizers (Roland MT 32, Korg Wavestation, Korg Triton Le) in a range of bands in Spain. Most recently he toured Spain with the Majorcan band Amarillo following the release of their second album Vuelve a por mi. Following his move to Australia in 2011, Ernesto is now focused on music composition and improvisation, as well as live performances in acoustic format.

These guys were a piano and saxophone duo who played old music that I loved and grew up with - think Billy Joel New York State of Mind Vibes. Super romantic, different, set the vibe and soon much better than the usual guy on acoustic guitar. Loved Them. Thanks
