A polished performer (singer/pianist/percussionist) who loves entertaining her audiences with beautiful music! Always professional and reliable, I have a wide repertoire of swing, Latin and blues including jazz standards from jazz greats Ella, Sinatra, Peggy Lee, Billie Holliday, Sarah Vaughan, Diana Krall & others together with upbeat contemporary swing artists such as Imelda May, Caro Emerald, Paloma Faith and Michael Buble.

I also love to perform soul and Motown favourites, especially Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Etta James, Dusty Springfield, James Taylor, Carole King, Bill Withers, Corinne Bailey-Rae, Duffy and Amy Winehouse.

My repertoire spans all the decades of jazz swing & blues: Great American Songbook classics as composed by Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Rodgers & Hart, Harold Arlen, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Sammy Kahn etc plus Latin/Brazilian hits (Tito Puente/bossa novas – Tom Jobim et al) plus some Cuban music eg Buena Vista Social Club and recent Brazilian favourites like Mas Que Nada that everyone loves dancing and singing along to..

French Chanson – Brel/Brassens/Trenet et al/Edith Piaf repertoire plus contemporary French jazzy/pop numbers (Patricia Kaas etc).

Music Theatre/Film Scores/Instrumentals as well as vocal numbers – classical to contemporary.. Olafur Arnalds/Yann Tiersen/Alexandre Desplat/Morricone/Hans Zimmer/John Williams etc.

Happy entertaining all ages and welcome audience participation wherever appropriate.

I’m also totally comfortable singing & playing jazzed-up pop material – eg Lennon & McCartney, Joni Mitchell, Sting, John Legend and others. In short – if it moves me I guarantee it’ll move you!

Having given a pretty good idea above of what you’ll be getting if you book me for your event, I’ll just say you and your guests can be sure of a great time if I provide your musical entertainment.

Nothing I do is ever substandard – I aim to bring you the best that I can do (which is the culmination of over 20 years in the professional music business, having trained classically then in a variety of genres with an MA in Music & Professional Piano Diploma) and absolutely adore performing beautiful music to all ages.

I’m always happy to discuss your requirements and eager to help you decide on all aspects of the music for your special event, whether that be putting together the song list you’d ideally like me to perform or assessing the logistics of where you’d like me to be situated and the appropriate sound level you’d like (and equally appropriate-sized PA).
