Available solo or with a female vocalist as shown in the video example. We can go two directions. In the Gospel field I have 3 CDs and do a “Gospel Sax Sing-Along” with words projected on the screen. In the Country field I now have two CDs “Classic Country & Rock Revival” and “Country Meets Soul AND Soul Meets Country.” My recordings are on the charts and being played all over the world. Walk down memory lane 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s. Solo artist (vocal & sax) with backing tracks. I use only the songs recorded on my CDs. My wife travels with me to handle my CD table.

Reminisce with me as I take you back through my roots in Country & Rock. Approximately 2 hour concert, indoors (or outdoors if covered), not background / dinner music.

I am one of the “survivors” of the first Rock generation, having turned pro at the age of 15 in 1956. That’s when Rock was just getting started with Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Bill Haley and on the black side we had Fats Domino, Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters and others who ushered in the Rock ‘n Roll era.

During my high school years I was with the Dale Hawkins band. Dale wrote and recorded “Susie-Q” featuring the guitar work of James Burton who later went on to become famous with Elvis Presley and many others. Dale’s hit with “Susie-Q” put him on Dick Clark’s American Bandstand as one of the first artists to ever appear on the TV show.

After Dale Hawkins I ended up with Mickey Gilley as his first sax man and it goes on from there.
