Zwai Mbula International Marimba

Zwai Mbula International Marimba band plays high – energy Marimba and percussion combining the traditional African music with Afro morden Pop, Jazz and World music. Original Zwai Mbula International Marimba band comes from Guguletu, Cape Town and Zwai as a leader grew up with Marimba Music. He started playing at the age of 12, when he joined and led Siyavuka Cultural group at the local community centre. The group won Shell Road to fame Talent Show in South Africa in 1996. Since then Zwai has been educated at The College of Music at the University of Cape Town and has played in variety of bands with different Styles.

Zwai Mbula International Marimba band – plays high energy Marimba and percussion combining African music with Modern pop, Afro Jazz, and World music. We play all different styles based on client requirements.

For more than 20 years of experience, we toured France, UK, US, Norway, Chine, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland to name the few. We also performed at the FIFA World Cup in 2010. We also conduct African Music workshops.

Zwai Mbula also do collaborations with other bands and music. The Client will be happy to have Zwai Mbula International Marimba band on any occasion. We live in the music.
