NuPort was conceived in the Early 90’s a musical group made up of musicians with great chemistry which is the concept of Nuport.
The name NuPort was first spelled “New” then recently changed to “Nu” which means fresh, or newbie and “Port” meaning a harbor of music to take in or discharge.
Our Personnel keeping that concept and chemistry is current members…Glenn Brown: Keyboards, Vocals, Band leader, Joseph {JOJO} Humphrey & Windel Dancer: Bass, Guy Busch: Drums, James Sharp: Saxophone, Christopher Brown: Trumpet, and vocalist Kent Crockett.
We can perform all music genres as well as cover tunes. Our specialities are Smooth Jazz, R&B, Blues & Top 40 but we are very versatile and can do any music genre.
